Three Day Camp Conducted by GCP

A Three day Dawah workshop cum Tarbiyati camp was conducted at Green Acres Resort in the outskirts of Hyderabad on 21st, 22nd and 23rd of May,09. This Camp was organized by Guidance Center for Peace (GCP), an active Dawah center working in Hyderabad. The camp was exclusively supervised by Shaikh Arshad Basheer Madani.

The Camp essentially constituted of Dawah training and knowledge gaining sessions. Various topics like Aqeedah, usool-e-Tafseer, Sciences of Hadith & Principles of Dawah were taught to a gathering of 100 students. It also had Tarbiyati sessions like offering Tahajjud and daily prayers, streamlining a Muslims day and utilizing the time in better way. The sessions were spread across 3 days.

Apart from regular classes, sports and extra curricular activities were organized within the camp. Swimming, football, Cricket and various other sports were available. Surprise sessions in the form of debates etc were also organized which boosted up the students.

Towards the end of the camp, Certificates were issued on successful completion of camp to all the students. PPC team were among the 100 students of the camp.

The president of GCP, Br. Qazim said “This camp marks the start of a new way of educating and streamlining the lives of Muslims, and hence teach them the correct way of life from Quran and Sunnah”.  Other prominent Daees of India like Br M.I. Ali, Br. Shafi & Br. Abu bakr Haqqani also took part in the camp.

    I would suggest that all these activities be sms to people interested via google sms channels

    Dear Riaz, Thanks for your advice, we will surely try to utilize the tool you suggested. As such we do have a SMS system in place in which we have about 8,000 phone numbers. You can also add your cell number to that database by mailing us with your number to info@peacepropagation.com. We would suggest you to collect cell numbers of as many muslims as possible and send it to us via email. This would be great support from you to reach more and more people and inform them of such events.
