Peace Propagation Center (PPC) conducted and organized a two day event “Islamic Orientation Program (IOP ’09)” which was held on Jan 10th & 11th, 2009. This is an yearly educational two day course conducted for Muslims and Non Muslims as an introduction to Islam.
Several renowned speakers from across India were invited to address the audience. Scholars like Dr. Sayeed Madani, Shaikh Arshad Bashir Madani, Sheikh Hussain Madani, Shaikh Nooruddin Umri, Shaikh Abdus Salaam Umri, Brother Abu Isaam Imran Ali.
Various topics were dealt with like Tawheed & Shirk, Importance of Education, Should Quran be read with understanding, Hadith and its sciences, Fiqh and its principles, Hajj & Umrah, Zakaah and its principles, Islam denounces Terrorism, Human rights in Islam etc.
Along with the lectures, a two day Islamic exhibition was also conducted as a part of imparting education. About 22 educational cum shopping stalls were setup with more than 20 Daees (preachers) appointed to answer the queries of visiting audience.
More than 1200 people visited the two day event. It was a grand success which later reflected in the Media. Below are some of the snapshots:
